Unveiling the Design of the €2 Euro Commemorative Coin Honouring the Maltese Honey Bee

We are pleased to reveal the design of the forthcoming issue of a 2 Euro Commemorative Coin by the Central Bank of Malta, which honours the endemic Maltese Honey Bee! The Foundation is delighted to see its long-suggested idea of a commemorative coin finally becoming a reality soon. The Central Bank of Malta will issue the coin this September, with 80,000 coins set to be minted.
