SICAMM 2023: Legal Protection of Honey Bees in the European Union

🇬🇧 This weekend, the “International Association for the Protection of the European Dark Bee” (SICAMM) is hosting a conference in Les Bellevilles (Savoy, France) that focuses on the importance of conserving endemic ecotypes of honeybees.

We are pleased to inform you that, having reviewed our research on the “Maltese and European Laws related to the Genetic Protection of the Endemic Maltese Honey Bee” [1], which was published earlier this year, the organisers have extended an invitation for us to participate in this conference.

Our presentation centred on the theme “Legal Protection of Honey Bees in the European Union” and was delivered by Mr. David Chetcuti Dimech, the lead author of the aforementioned publication.
